That is a very pitiful offer for Columbus to move Merzlinkins. Koskinen is a cap dump to Columbus, Jones’s only value is that he is Seth’s brother and the 6th is just some late throw in pick for their number one goalie.

It’s no secret that one of their two goaltenders has to be traded before the expansion draft, otherwise Seattle is getting a good number one goalie for free. That said, I can almost guarantee they can do better than this. Retain half of Kostinen’s salary, and make the pick useful, at least a 3rd. Then you might stand a chance at one of their goalies.
