Description
Ok let me explain.

Flames: I think the flames and flyers are very much in the same situation. They have run it with the same core for half a decade and nothing has come of it. Both need a shakeup. Gaudreau to Philly makes too much sense. I think he could go as a UFA after next season so flames get a package for one year of Johnny. While slightly overpaid, do no dismiss Voracek's skill. He is an elite playmaker and has gone under the radar for many years. They also get the potential of Nolan Patrick, someone who needs a fresh start. A solid defense prospect in Hogberg and a 2nd round pick. You have to remember that this is a package for an expiring Gaudreau.

Buffalo: alright Sabers fans. I tried to do my best with this package. Unfortunately, in any trade where you are trading Jack Eichel you will lose. However I think the relationship has gone sour. Sabers get a young top 6 winger with 30 goal potential who is locked up. A young 6' 5'' RHD top 4 defense man and an A prospect who is NHL ready in Frost. You also get a 15 pick along with another 1st. This is a solid package and one I don't know if other teams are willing to challenge.

Seattle: I think the flyers use the Golden Knights draft as a guild line. When pens wanted to give Vegas Fleury it cost them a 2nd. He made 7 mill per year (I believe on a longer contract then JVR) so flyers do similar and give them a 2nd along with a decent depth player in Aube-Kubel.

Misc: really the Ghost and Hagg trades can be anywhere. Also thought about ghost to Oilers if they don't sign Barrie

And finally...

Flyers: I see the flyers being huge players in the offseason. Probably not to this extent but I can imagine. Eichel and Gaudreau give them game changing talent up front along with Hamilton on the back end being and incredible partner for Provy.

I could see the flyers using the top two lines as offensive weapons. The third line as an elite shutdown line that can score and the fourth line as a young energy line.

On defense the previously mentioned Hamilton is absolutely needed. He is a true #1 defenseman and will come at a premium. Savard gives them more leadership on the backend and can also be a good partner for Sanheim. Also we can bring up York in a limited 3rd pair role with Braun.

This is a team that SHOULD compete for a cup...

The Eichel trade is unnecessary but all the other trades are needed.

I think you've bent over backwards to be fair to Buffalo but I think you've overpaid for Eichel by at least Frost (a former first-round pick). Kevyn Adams himself said that he wants the equivalent of four first-round picks and Konecny and Myers are each worth one plus. In addition, Konecny and Myers are first-line players NOW and almost every other Eichel trade I have seen doesn't offer two current NHLers of quality.

You would decline a young top 6 winger, a top 6 center prospect, a young top 6 D, a lottery pick, and another 1st? That seems pretty stupid

Josh Ho Sang is young, you wanna trade Barkov for him and a late first? Young is far from the only requirement and picks are worth less than actual prospects

But this isn't trading barkov for Ho Sang and a late first...

Idk man, personally I think this is the best package that could be offered. Not many teams have the picks/prospects/players and are in a position to realistically get Eichel. Like saying Hart is the start of a package is just rediculous

If this is the best offer in the entire league, Eichel isnt moving. Konecny is the only solid piece
