Description
some things I think the avs could do to stay competitive next season, giving the young guys a chance and I think it should work especially with Newhook, I think that he would do really good in a 2nd line role.

    COL
    1. Patrick, Nolan [RFA Rights]
    PHI
    1. Jost, Tyson [RFA Rights]
    2. 2021 3rd round pick (COL)
    Additional Details:
I think both players could use a new team, Jost has been a good 4th line and sometimes 3rd line guy but I have seen some places that Patrick won't even be protected at Seattle draft.
    3.
    COL
    1. 2022 2nd round pick (EDM)
    2. 2023 4th round pick (EDM)
    EDM
    1. Saad, Brandon
    Additional Details:
I think Saad has been good for Colorado but next season I think Newhook should be ready for the nhl so I think he should slot in the 2nd line wing spot with Kadri and burky

I wasn't sure whether to trade him after sign or just let him walk, it could be either. If you sign him then ur over the cap

Jost is the better NHL player right now compared to Patrick. Since they put Jost in the 3C spot he has 9 point sin 15 games. Thats a 0.6pt pace. And he is an elite PKer

Why would avs move their reliable fwd in Jost who finally they have groomed for the role he was meant to be for a massive roll of the dice in Patrick.

Your logic doesn't add up.. In your trade the Oilers aren't sending any cap back right? So what's the difference if they sign him in the offseason? No cap coming of the books directly either way? Regardless, the Oilers wouldn't be over cap, they have 25mil in cap space this offseason.
