If the jets are going to make a deep run they need to break up the Connor-scheifele-wheeler line

Doubt there's a deep playoff run in the Jets future whether that defensively challenged top line is kept together or not.

Fair but at this point copp, Perrault or even Appleton on the 1st line makes more sense than wheeler.

I want the Jets to play the Leafs so the playoff games won't have a late start. I know its only four games, but I value my sleep.

Trust me I agree, realistically that should be Ehlers spot when he comes back. But knowing Maurice he’ll keep wheeler the pylon on the 1st line. I always think about comparing Maurice to trotz in terms of how they handle their lineups, but at least trotz has a history of winning, and isn’t the most losing coach of all time.

If I had it my way, my healthy top nine looks like:

Copp-Scheifele-Ehlers
Connor-Dubois-Wheeler
Stastny-Lowry-Appleton

Right now without ehlers, I’d go with:
Stastny-schiefele-perreault
Connor-dubios-Appleton
Copp-Lowry-vesalainen
Lewis-Thomson-wheeler

You won't get an argument from me, Wheeler is a 3rd line winger now imo.

Copp, Perreault and Appleton are all 3rd liners as well though.. Lol
