Might not be quite enough from Detroit specially to get Cirelli, But I can't see Tampa letting Cernak get taken for nothing by Seattle.

Detroit declines even if they were to trade Stecher they wouldn't need an other right defenseman so I don't see them spending that much for a player they don't need. Plus Detroit doesn't have enough pieces in place to give 4 assets for 2 players.

TB declines because there is really nothing there to even make them consider moving Cirelli and from your comment above you feel the same way.

I say take out the first and this is a done deal. TB needs to shed cap, and if Seattle doesn't take Johnson, they're in rough shape. TB gets a good replacement for Cernak and a younger cheaper option for CIrelli. This is a good offer with the tweak.

Yea, I still think Detroit would need to throw in the Caps First just because its value for Cirelli. There is no way that Seattle is going to just pick johnson without extras. There are so many great options for Seattle to take from Tampa. That is why I think they would want to move Cernak to avoid losing him for nothing. I think Detroit gains a great Defensemen in Cernak and I think this would make them semi competitive next season. I know Seider is a Right Defensemen but Cernaks size and ability would just strengthen the Redwings so much and I honestly think there is room for both of them.
