People have to stop putting Logan Brown into trades. He is not a good hockey player.

No, but he adds 0 value to the trade.
IMO I don't think OTT should touch Eichel with a 10 ft pole. Dorian is doing a pretty good job on this rebuild, esp considering who he has to report to, and there's no point in trading draft picks to obtain a player like this. There's no value in this deal player wise other than Brannstrom, and even he hasn't panned out the way Ottawa hoped when they got him from Vegas. But at least he still has time. They have 1-2 more years of gelling as a team, and then I feel they are going to be a force in the east. Keep the cap space to sign the young guys as they grow and then use the excess to fill in holes.

would Melnyk want to touch paying a player $10 Million a season for the next 5 seasons (thats cash AND cap) - i don't see that happening at all

Elite center. They'd be incredibly strong down the middle between Eichel, Norris, and Pinto. Definitely able to compete (at worst) with the best center groups in the atlantic

They aren’t ready to compete yet. Trading draft picks isn’t the right move.

relax Frankie. He is not a good player and adds 0 value to the trade and is an rfa anyway. He is in so many trade proposals and for what? Would you waste a roster spot on him?

I would steer clear of him anyway to be honest. Great talent yes, but is he worth the diva-ness he would bring. I have a feeling some team will blow their brains out for him and be really sorry.

Heres why i as a Sens fan dont do it Jarvente looks like a promissing potential top 9 player Branstrom is an Elite defenseman, they will not trade this years first Sens would like to keep it and next years first could be a top 5 pick no deal on Ottawas side, you can keep Brown and Dadonov. Buffalo doesnt even do this

take out brown put in brady than flip eichel to rangers for lafeniere and nyr 1st rounder
