There is no world in which Buffalo also hands off their goalie of the future in a trade involving Jack Eichel.

UPL is about a year away TBH but there is no way UPL is dealt without a suitable, long term solution in net.

UPL was up because Buffalo went through 6 goalie. The invested to much in him to be traded and its common to send players to the Ahl when team are out of the playoffs to give them more experience
