Nope. Danault is a 2C at best, Stastny and Carter can't carry a line and this team has no number 1 d-man

Danault is a top 20 centre in the NHL, his line with Gallagher and Tatar is one of the most dominant lines at 5v5. I just replaced tatar with artemi panarin, that line is gonna be extremely effective
I do not need Carter and Stastny to carry their lines since I have Taylor Hall, Sam Reinhart and Anthony Duclair there as well

First of all, Danault is not a top 20C in the NHL. That is absurd. He is a talented two-way center, but this is ridiculous.

I think this is a fringe playoff team, possibly 3rd or 4th in their division. Their lack of quality Centers (Stastny's 2nd line anchor days are behind him as impressive as he's been) makes it hard to compete. Careful with the recency bias with Carter, although that's a decent third line.

Their D is pretty good. Muzzin and Toews might be great but that doesn't mean they are true #1s. Just because someone is a team's best defensemen (which isn't even the case with Toews) doesn't make them a true #1.

You could honestly miss the playoffs on goaltending alone. Kuemper's best days are behind him and Jones is just straight up garbage.

The only thing that could make them a legit contender would be for Panarin to make Gallagher a 40-goal scorer or for Kuemper to travel back in time and become a Vezina contender again. Otherwise the goaltending sucks, the D doesn't score enough, and the forwards get eaten alive on defense (with the exception of Danault)

strong on wing and defense is fine, but why is Kuemper the back-up? and the center depth is pretty pedestrian and old -- I don't see them winning a cup. Maybe 1st round exit.
