I think people are quick to forget what a dominant prospect Eichel was. Beniers nor Powers is anywhere close to him as a prospect. Just a little food for thought Eichel scored 71pts and won the Hobey Baker or 1.77ppg. Beniers averaged a 1.0 ppg.

That's why I said add one of the other pieces. They'll still be top tier players (Power's floor is top pair D, likely to be a 1D, and Beniers looks like the next Toews). Even if they don't have the same superstar potential, they're 6 years younger and come with the added marketing bonus of being a 1st overall pick, which might help appeal to a frustrated fanbase. Plus they get another solid young piece on top of that. I don't think it takes 4 solid young pieces to acquire anyone except maybe McDavid, MacKinnon, or Matthews when one of the pieces is the 1st overall pick in any draft.
