Description
Let the kids play! Hopefully McMichael is a better face-off winner than Kuznetsov. This is based on him being greater than 40% in the circle... The cap relief gives them flexibility at the trade deadline if needed. I know it is virtually the same roster that just got beat, but I think if the D zone can get younger, that will help ALOT. It is Fehervary's time to shine!

    I like it. Definitely time to give opportunities to Fehervary, Alexeyev, McMichael. Would even like to see Sprong play a little bit in the top 6 I think he has some untapped potential.

    Playoffs still, but maybe a small step back to let the kids play and then take a step forward the year after for one more run at the cup.

    Yeah probably have to give them something extra to soak a contract like that.

    Yeah they would have to include a pick to help nudge Seattle to take Dillon and not take someone like Sheary/Sprong or Vanecek.

    I'd like to think Kuzy could get more in return. Yes lots of problems. But he is still a #1 / #2 center. This year, despite all the COVID issues, he still had 29 points in 41 games with dramatically better defense. Last year, he was on track for 25+ goals, 40+ assists minimum. Not bad.

    But maybe I am bias
