The Jets trade with Copp, 2 firsts and a 3rd would be a 2nd instead of a third but that Laine and Roslovic for Dubois and a 3rd was a cheap low ball. This is perfectly mutual for all teams involved. CBJ would have 5 2021 first round draft picks... They literally could use 4 of those first rounders to get McDavid or possibly 3 and a strong depth player to also off load some cap to reconstruct.

I don't mind all the pieces in this trade, but there is no way the Jets should get that much influx of talent AND improve their draft position this year. (The MTL pick is going to be higher than the WPG one). I think MTL would pay the first and second for Dubois (though I think it's an overpayment), but I think either the MTL second, or a good prospect needs to go CLB way as well instead of going to WPG.
Also, with Davidson back in CLB and a new coach on the way, I see Jones signing an extension and that team getting much better in the next 2 years.

Winnipeg is giving up way too much for a rental and a player they have long since moved on from and the return coming from Montreal for Dubois isn't even close.
