EDM and Col fans occasionally bid a 1st plus something small. WSH could particularly use prospects at RHD, but expansion-exempt forwards and goalies are welcome. LHD, they're all set. If they get a good enough offer on Vanecek, or if Seattle agrees to take a skater, Samsonov could go off the market, of course. So to get him, you'd have to move quickly.

I think I’d prefer Vanacek.

He’s probably cheaper and we don’t need a guy to be a starter. We just need a solid backup in case Campbell gets injured or has a rough stretch and needs some rest.
