Description
Protection list in expansion:
Forsberg, Johansen, Kunin, Ellis, Ekholm, Josi, Fabbro, Carrier, Saros

Seattle takes Duchene off our hands but in exchange gets Arvidsson in the expansion draft. That'll give them 2 top 6 players to put a team together with.

Extend Tolvanen, Saros, and other RFAs
Trade Ellis - Supposedly Philly was interested. I think a rehab project like Nolan and a good d prospect would be a decent return.
Sign Saad. He's the type a player i feel this team could really use.
Sign a backup that can handle 30-40 games to help shoulder the workload. I chose Ullmark but there are a couple choices out there.

      Philly would add picks

I would be interested in this for the most part. Wouldn't sign Ullamrk for 3 years, Askarov is supposed to come over after next season. a 1 year backup (pekka or UFA) even Ingram

Move Fabbro away from Ekholm, Farrance or Davies could slide in on second pair - Ek plays better with offensive defensemen

I'd prefer Konecny or Frost as my target in a Ellis to PHI trade over Patrick.

I think Saad makes sense if Hynes is back (most likely) -- I think he'd fit the system. Though I think the contract (and Granlund's) are both high.

No need for Ullmark. Give 1 year to Rinne or let Ingram play backup.

You could get probably a 1st, Frost, and Patrick. They aren’t gonna move Konecey if they are acquiring Ellis. They have a decent prospect pool to dip into.

I’d go Marzek at goalie will be looking for a 1 year deal to regain value after an injury filled season.

I think rinne is likely done. I didn’t want to rush Askarov over and ingram had a tumultuous year capped off with an injury. Saad and Granlund are likely high but I’d rather go high in a mock-up to see worse case cap scenario. I’d prefer Frost myself but I’m unsure of Ellis’ value.

Marazek would be a good choice too for a short term contract.

1st, Frost and Patrick would be a stellar return imo

I wonder what they could get from EDM for an Ellis + Arvy trade? Would be sick to snag Holloway somehow, but they also have some other prospects that would be interesting.
