Honestly I feel like Nill would still hold onto Dickie and hope Seattle takes Dobby. Dickie isn’t anything super special but he plays all three forward positions, can be trusted defensively (unless it’s 3v3), and is affordable. He’s the right type of depth player and there honestly aren’t many around this coming offseason

This is why I would trade Dickinson. Dallas has plenty of pieces to fill the bottom six. They need Seattle to choose Dobby. Take Dickinson out and you have them choosing between Dobby, Caamano, or L’Esperance. Just accept losing both Dobby and Dickinson, and you figure out the best path afterwards.
