Gotta include at least Turcotte. BUF will ask for Byfield but I think LAK could get away with a package around Turcotte.

Agreed. Without Turcotte this deal gets beat pretty easily. No centerpiece to build around in that offer. A bunch of kinda nice pieces don't get it done.

i'm more perplexed at that martinez deal than the eichel trade

they're still rebuilding why would they try to get the gang back together AGAIN?

Some deal might be better than this one, and if so, good for BUF. I feel like Eichel is a stud, but he is $10M a year & currently needing back surgery. Under those circumstances, I believe a 1st (Top 10), 2nd, 3rd, a 1st Rd pick Center in Vilardi, 2nd Rd RHD, 3rd Rd C.... that a good return for BUF.

Byfield, Turcotte, Kaliyev aren’t getting traded. Maybe Kupari can be substituted.

Adding Martinez solidifies the defense, enough for the Kings to finish 3rd next year in the Pacific and let the LAK make the playoffs.
