They also have plenty of left-handed shooting defensemen. What they need are top six forwards capable of replacing the ones they are potentially losing, a young right hand shooting defenseman to add to the core, and NHL capable goaltenders.

Eichel deal makes sense. Might even be able to get away with one less piece (Hajek) depending on other offers. But this one does lose to a comparable offer including Turcotte.

I'd have to agree there, but would the kings pull a deal involving turcotte if eichel isn't 1000% healthy? That's a huge gamble, kakko is a lot more disposable because he is a winger, and I'm not sure the rangers take the gamble either
