The 1st is the cost just to take on Koskinen, what are you giving us to take Turris off your books? Also, you can forget any assets going back for cap dumps

Probably a 2nd round pick short for Det to accept 2 cap dumps. Also the 4th would be removed.

Koskis buyout is $1.5M x 2 and Turris is $500k x 1 when buried, that is not a first.

In a flat cap world, it sure as heck is, especially since it's a late 1st. That's 1.5m of dead money for 4 years. That's a long time for dead money on the books. Turris's cap dump is obviously less, so a 3rd or B- asset in addition would suffice for him, but I still stand by my original statement - it needs to be more.

Detroit isn't here to do any other teams any favors. We are not a charity, make it worth our time, or keep your players and their cap.

It's 1.5 for 2 years not four, so all up this is a cap dump of $3.5M that is not a 1st. If it was for four years and a hit of $6M, that would be a first.

I wouldn't do this trade anyway, just saying your calibration on price is off.

I thought he had 2 years left on his deal, not 1, which would have made the buyout/cost more. I stand corrected.

Why would Detroit want a goalie that is worse than the two they already have?
