OTT says no. They have a good thing going, and are further ahead than BUF IMO. They have guys due big raises over the next couple years. And they're not taking on 84 years of Jeff Skinner at $9 mil. I used to hate the Sens as much as the Habs, but I have a lot of respect for what Dorian has done.

ya i totally agree ottawa doesnt even have to make any trades they will fill the needs from ufa out there

Agreed. They will add UFA's as needed (without overspending, since they are a budget team) and buy their young players time and experience, but I wouldn't put it past Dorian to make a trade to fill holes or land a reasonable star.

No way Buffalo gives up a top pick in next year's draft. There's a good chance the Sabres could have the No.1 pick in that draft because they're gonna suck again. That pick could be Shane Wright, IMO the best Canadian prospect since McDavid.
