Description

No real explanations. Hate to trade Jenner, but his salary just doesn't meet his production anymore. The trade with the Rangers gives the Jackets 2 top 15 picks. I think the value of the Reinhart trade is pretty good, but I'm sure many of you experts will feel differently.

On the UFA side, I really want the Jackets to sign Blake Coleman, but I'm sure there will be many suitors. Tyson Barrie is pretty far fetched, but he would certainly help the Jackets "retool", even though many of us fans know this is likely a full blown rebuild.

On the Jones front, I just don't know what will happen. I know that signed, he's worth a ton. Knowing that he wants to test the market, I just don't think this will turn out well for the Jackets. I guess we'll know what tack Jarmo/JD take when we see the return when he actually is traded before the draft.

No one. Traded up to get this pick to move on for Sam Reinhart. Might be a bit of an overpay, but might be what is needed to get the deal done.
