Canucks will take Graves for that so you don't have to trade him within the same division

I’d be in shock if make doesn’t get almost double that amount

    Seems steep for Gagner.

I'd be shocked if Hall leaves Boston...

Could be for sure - but I'd wager he takes a short term bridge deal in a flat cap environment

Would still look closer to 7-8m what more does he need to prove?

-You underpaid Makars bridge deal by 1.5mil but overpaid Jost by 1.5mil.
    -Grubauer gets closer to 5.5mil.
    - I assume you trade Graves prior to expansion draft, which isnt necessary, but he nets you more than a 3rd rd pick.
    - Hall and Gagner signings are a bad idea, this team doesnt need more firepower (bring back Saad).
    - Paying Gagner 8mil for 4th line C??
    - You are over the cap

Ahaha I meant to pay Gagner 800,000 for a depth vet centre. Sorry.

    Thank you for your feedback

Typically I try to imagine what a player will demand vs what the team will offer and try to find a balance. Makar getting a bridge deal, Jost signing for a short term (maybe he's overpaid), idk. This is just for my own fun really.

The Gagner deal I added a zero by accident tho

Hall isn’t coming to Denver, he had his chance last summer and blew it

    Makar deal is low
    Grubi deal is low
    Graves trade value is low
Pass on gagner he doesn’t fit the avs in that role
Hall deal is low as well

I feel like Landy will come in around 6-7x$7.5M

I mean, I'd love that, but I disagree. With the playoffs he's having and the market for wingers like him? He's going to get paid.

I understand what you're saying but I think he's going to take a team-friendly deal to keep the band together. He cares about winning and, while he'd leave a hefty sum on the table by not going the UFA route, there are benefits to staying that outstrip that extra dough. And making $7.5M for 7 years is getting paid, too.

Anything's possible, but the way he's playing right now, I'd say teams will be willing to offer $8-9 million for 7-8 years. That and taking too friendly a team-friendly deal can piss off the NHLPA, but I get where you're coming from and truly hope that's what ends up happening haha.
