Description

Tampa losses some really good pieces that they don't want to part with. But they solve their cap issues and they get the number 1 overall.
Buffalo gets a young centre and dman and they get an overpaid vet (who can still pay) but give up the 1st overall. All 3 pieces would help support Dahlin and Eichel.

Sign Danault. Danault + Cirelli are 2 of the best defensive centres in the league. This adds a huge boost to the team.

Sign Martinez to help shelter Dahlin.

The team is far from perfect, but if their goaltending holds their own and a few of their young guys step up (Jokiharju/Quinn/Cozens), They could be dangerous.

Why would Johnson be remotely interested in waiving for Buffalo? And zero chance i see either Cernak or Cirelli being moved.
