Sabres pass. Overpay for a massively overpaid winger.

Top 5 in league scoring with above average defence... when were the Sabres able to say that last about a player?

literally only 10 guys scored more points than him since he signed that deal - 5 of them are centres, the other 5 are kane, marchand, panarin, pasta and huberdeau (many of those guys are a lot older than him as well)

I get he had an extremely weak couple playoffs, but that doesn't change the fact he's one of the best wingers in the NHL. McDavid's team got swept and he only had a goal and 3 secondary assists. He was held scoreless in half of the series. I guess he's extremely overpaid as well?

It really doesn’t matter. Eichel is getting traded so they won’t trade for Marner.

Buffalo shouldnt trade that pick unless its an overpayment.

Sabres should focus on getting blue collar guys.

Marner needs is not top five winger and not worth that much. He would wouldn’t be top 20 in points on Sabre’s without Jack as his center. He is producing because he has Mathews on his line and Tavares line protecting them. He is over paid. Sorry but not worth that.

Or just good hockey players.

They’ve had a lot of good players over the last few years - yet they all suck in Buffalo. Time to try a different route.

Yes they have good players, but a lot of bad ones that screw up.
