Flames aren't trading 2 of there top 3 prospects, a 12th pick, and there best player for Eichel who's play could go down hill with his injury

Replace Tkachuk with Monahan and its fine. This current trade is the value of 6+ 1st's for a disgruntled Eichel though

Let's not pretend Calgary is some Juggernaut either. And no, Buffalo would have no interest in an aging Monahan only a couple years from UFA. Eichel may not be at top value right now but if they don't give Tkachuk they don't have to trade him there at all. I'd do Tkachuk + Zary + 2021 1st

Yes, but Reinhart is walking in 13 months anyway so you guys should really take the top 10 pick for him while you can get one

Really one sided trades in favour of the Sabres. Signing Bracco to 2.5m X 3 years? Heck I don't think any of the previous Sabres GMs made a signing THAT bad.

Also whats the issue with Monahan? Retain a bit and flip him for another 1st and B+ to A- prospect. It baffles me how Sabres fans will be fine with offers like Dumba, Boldy, and 26th OA but scoff at anything from Calgary that doesnt include Tkachuk
