The Kings have absolutely zero need for PK Subban and his $9M contract. Won't happen. If I had to guess at a team willing to take a chance, maybe Pittsburgh, which is very thin at RD after Letang. In a closing window, if NJ will eat a bit of cap, the veteran Pens might get good use out of Subban for one last push for another cup.

Unless the Habs lose either Kulak or Chiarot to expansion, I don't see Butcher being of interest.

The Subban deal would work if it was (a) with 50% retention and (b) done after July 28 when he gets his last signing bonus ($6m bonus, $2m salary).
It would be $4.5 cap hit...and $1.0 million real money to LAK.
Then, he would be worth a 2nd round pick.
But between Doughty, Walker, Roy, Grans and Faber...I imagine they are all set at RD.

Ryan Murray will be a UFA on July 28th, so no team is giving up anything meaningful for him.

And the Pesce deal is much less likely than a Gardiner or Skjei deal. Or even Bean.
I could see Skjei maybe, but don't think Gardiner or Bean would be my choices, considering the prices.

Pesce is untouchable unless you are going to be offering a kings ransom. And even then I don’t know if the canes pull the trigger on that trade. That trade you offered is not nearly enough
