Why? Is he a true #1 defensmen? He's a 2 maybe 1b. Clearing Jake's money , #13 overall in what is considered a weak draft and a future first isn't worth a a second pair RHD and a legit superstar? Provy is good but is no way untouchable.

For Philly Provorov is just untouchable. He is a #1 D in Philly and for that reason he's not getting moved. Clearing Jake's contract would be nice but we can trade him somewhere with compensation. Also Risto isn't a fit because we need defensive Dmen and Risto is bad defensively.

Not enough there for Buffalo. I cannot imagine a world where they take the Voracek contract when they are already sitting on Okposo and Skinner. Philly pick not high enough to deliver a game changer.

No from Buffalo. As good as Provorov is, nobody really talks about him as one of the best in the league which would be needed for this trade to make sense. Voracek is aging and 2 pick is not enough for Eichel.
