Description
I will start with I don't think Landeskog will leave the Ave's I think he resigns. However, they have some possible cap issues coming up with having to renew Makar and they have no goalies signed next season. I suspect Grubauer will get a raise and resigns with the Avs. I suspect the Avs's will spend around 6m in net next year. Avs's fans am I correct in the assumption? They also have 8m in LITR that may have to be accounted for next year. They will most likely get some relief with the expansion draft creating some more room.

The CGY and CLB trade was one that I read as a speculation so I used it here. That trade suggested TB 1st for Monny, but Tre is good at negotiating so I used the TO pick. Johnny to Buff and the first is based on the fact that Reinhart is one year from UFA and sounds like he wants out of Buffalo to play closer to home. This trade get Buff something. Risto has been written off by many a Buffalo fan, so can he learn from Sutter and Gio and become what he was expected to be with their help. Again Buffalo gets something for him before he possibly walks for free. Jonny goes with one year left which can become a TDL 1st , or a possible resign if Buffalo can find a way to keep Eichel and they have chemistry. Essentially a first for each player. Possibly CGY need to add to make it happen and they do have pick to do so.

Lucic goes to Seattle for Cap relief. People say it will require a 1st but again Tre is a wizard at times so its a 2nd and 3rd. Calgary still has their first if necessary to make it happen. Possibly Gio gets pick which actually helps CGY's cap situation even more. CGY would sign another defender in the 5.5 m range and could add 500k to Landeskog and Reinhart each if necessary.

Ideally, I would like to have Landeskog/Reinhart play 1st Line C with Tkachuk, but they generally play the wing so I put Lindy on the 1st line. Instead I put Tkachuk on the 2nd as the MMA line.

Long term outlook looks good as CGY would have over 27m in Cap the next year for resigning players.

Monahan should definitely return more than that. Flames get fleeced in the Sabres trade too

Flames very easily decline all those trades. Monahan is worth a lot more, gaudreau is worth a lot more and lucic is the best player ever

youll find that most of the the flames fans on this website are only here to say "flames decline", over value flames players and then call everyone who disagrees with them oilers fans. its become an embarrassing place to be a flames fan. ever single one of the people who commented here above you fall very heavily into that camp, except maybe the weird lunatik guy, he just seems to have anger issues or the mental capacity of a peanut in every post he comments on.

regarding the post, i would be happy with a first for monahan but the situation likely leans towards a mid round pick and a young roster player with team control. gaudreau should stay in calgary in my opinion, i think that if he is moved out it will be right before the draft and will be a 1 for 1 similar to subban and weber due to the expansion draft and protection lists. i thnk reinhart is a great target but ristolainen is a non factor.

Hamonic for a 1st and 2 2nds, lazar for a 2nd, kulak for values and Taormina, Brian Elliot for a 2nd and a 3rd. Im sure there are more but that’s just off the top of my head

Hamilton for a 1stand two 2nds off the top of my head. 100% win. Boston 101 games played by the three draft picks. Hamilton played 346 games for the Flames.

I wouldn’t say 100% win the flames could have pick barzal, Connor, chabot with that pick

hamonic was a win now move, islanders had to move hamonic.. perfectly sensible trade
lazar for what projects to be a 4th line guy in formenton.. sure i guess if thats a 100% in your world
kulak was horrendous in calgary, thats like being upset about the bennett trade, would have never worked
17-5 in the lsat two months of the season brian elliott or a different guy that didnt single handedly drag a bad team to the playoffs at the end of the year? .922 and .936 save % in january and february and your pissed off about a 2nd and a 3rd?

my god give your head a shake, it's hard to imagine someone actually thinks this way.

Easy for Lunatik to criticize when you join and only post one ACGM roster in four years. Just a bully nothing more. I have no issue with people offering suggestion on improvements to my suggested trades. I just try set a fair value would be while not over valuing or under valuing my players and think would this be realistic from the other teams perspective.

The Leafs 1st round pick will be what? 24th at best? At pick 24 you're lucky to get a 3rd liner. Trading a top 6 center for that would be complete and utter stupidity.
Then adding that pick to downgrade our forward position (Reinhart is about on par with Monahan) and add a RHD with 1 year left on his contract that is often a liability and is worth a 2nd at best, is more garbage.

You don't post because your scared people will seek to trash your ideas out of retribution because your a bully behind a key board. I have yet to read an intelligent comment you've made on any of the proposals you comment on in this fourm.

Essentially you accomplish trading Gaudreau for Ristolainen. If you think that is a good idea, I don't have words to explain how wrong you are.

I didn't offer improvements because this **** needs to be tossed in a brown bag, lit on fire and left on your doorstep.

YA I saw it. More treading water with the proposal. Until the Flames deal with the C depth (perhaps Monny rebounds) and they get players who play the the next level, the team stay mediocre and a playoff bubble team. I am not seeing a huge risk or much of a change in the line up you propsed.

I never said it was risky, but it's not giving away players for no reason like yours. Which is beyond stupid. But I'm done wasting my time here, welcome to ignore
