Jarvis is one of the best prospects in the whole league.

Eichel is realistically getting an A prospect, B prospect, roster player, 2 1sts

Nothing close to what you think.

1- you don’t KNOW that
2- idc about your OPINION

Jarvis is a “good” prospect, NOT a great one
We aren’t “selling low” on Eichel

I don't think a player as skilled as Eichel will ever get lower then right now. Performance wise you aren't selling low, but trading a disgruntled player coming off an injury is selling low

We won’t have to settle for less than a great deal bc so many teams will be interested in him

Well yeah, it will be a bidding war, but the top bid will be lower than Eichel would normally get because of the circumstances

The bidding will start lower I’d bet
But bc of how many teams will be in on it,
i fell pretty certain it’ll grow to be quite a haul for us

Just bc it starts lower,
doesn’t mean teams will not continue to outbid each other
LOTS of desperate GMs coming off playoff losses trying to save their jobs
And pushy owners that will tell some of them to “get it done”

He was ranked 26th best prospect by TSN
He was ranked 24th best prospect by DobberProspects

He is a great prospect. I don't care whether you think he isn't. The analysts and experts think he is. Ranked higher than Turcotte, Perfetti, and Rossi.

Mid20s is NOT “one of the best prospects in the league”
And it’s not considered “great” either

He’s not enough
Especially bc the rest of the pieces offered are weaker

U simply aren’t close to getting Eichel for this- or anything close to it

PS. Go Tampa! 😂😂😂

Yes being ranked the 26th prospect out of 500 means you're great.

When Eichel gets traded I'm coming back to laugh at you. Good luck coping with the return.

I'm not even a Hurricanes fan you moron lmao.

At no point in Eichel's career has he had more than 3 top 6 players. The fact you're arguing about someone who's a 2nd liner on Buffalo, but a 4th liner on a playoff team shows that.

He had 18 points in 21 games. You're acting like had 2 points in 21 games. Aho was literally under PPG last year lol.

Idk what to tell you. He's a franchise player. Every metric shows that. If you want to just ignore reality go ahead. He's a 1C on every team except Edmonton, Colorado, Pittsburgh, and Toronto. That's it.

Even McDavid who's a generational talent can't will teams to the playoffs. He's only made it 3 out of the 6 years. That's while playing with Drai too. When Eichel gets traded to a contender he's gonna absolutely tear it up. Then everybody is gonna be saying damn we should've traded for him.

In the qualifying round against the Rangers, Aho had 8 points in 3 games...he was well over a PPG if you combine that with the regular season stats since it wasn't a playoff series.

Eichel is now 24, he's coming off an injury, he wants out and he's struggled with top talent around him. This year he had 4 good top 6 players around him with Hall, Olofsson, Reinhart and Skinner. He had Staal, Mittelstadt, and others too who have shown their ability to play in the top 6. He's had the support. The truth is, whoever trades for him, is going to give up more than he is worth. He's a 2C on a contender (yes, he's a 2C in Carolina, he's a 2C in Boston, he's a 2C in Colorado, Tampa, etc...)

No, it doesn’t
Not “great” enough to be the only good piece in a trade for Eichel

Have a great night boomer

The u shouldn’t even want him
So don’t be upset when a mediocre offer like this gets outbid & u lose out on him- AND continue to be bested by teams like Tampa each year in the playoffs

Wow, you really like to talk about that Tampa series huh... jealous of teams that actually make it?
Buffalo won't get a lot for Eichel. He's disgruntled, injured, upset, angry, and discontent with mediocrity. He's going to be a 2C on a contender. Enjoy the pits of irrelevence!

And your team is golfing now, just like mine

Half the league will be bidding on Eichel
The return will be HUGE

Recommend a golf course since you know them so well?

You're going to be bitterly disappointed. Most teams aren't going to have the cap space to take on a 10 million dollar contract in a flat cap world. Teams that have that space... are rebuilding. You're going to be disappointed with the return.

Nice try
Sabres can take back Cap from whoever they trade Eichel too
So your argument is baseless & invalid

You're asking for the moon, and now you're asking for players cap back too?
Look, you're going to be disappointed. Eichel is coming off an injury, he wants out of a bad organisation, and he's coming off the worst season of his life. You're not going to get what you want for him this year! Deal with it!

There’s no way for you to KNOW that
And i really don’t care what you think

I get that you guys want Eichel bc he’d give u a chance to beat good teams in the playoffs.....
but your not getting him cheap
And that’s something you’re gonna have to accept
So deal with that sucka

Erm...
Carolina beat the defending cup Champion Capitals and upstart Islanders, beat the hot Rangers and then crushed a weaker Nashville team... the only team that's beat them in the past 3 years and stayed under the cap is Boston.

Eichel is not going to bring back a major return because he is coming off a major injury in a flat cap world with a major contract. HISTORY tells you that you will not get a good return for him, so swallow that pill already!

He absolutely will bring back a great return bc there will be so many teams that want him
Teams like yours who are desperate to get into the upper tier of teams & become REAL contenders, instead of the POSERS they currently are
