MIN
  1. Girgensons, Zemgus
Additional Details:
I really have no idea what it would take for the Wild to acquire Girgensons, so I would appreciate input and suggestions. Bouramman and Mitchell are 2 mid-level prospects, Bouramman with the higher ceiling.

Zemgus would fit perfect in Minnesota.

Im not familiar with these prospects but I think this is a good trade. Buffalo wants to move on from Zemgus and he wants a fresh start anyways

Agree that 4th line center might be our #1 need right now. I would love for the Wild to go after Boyle from TB. Big body, would be 2nd on our team in hits, plays PP and PK, can play wing on any of our lines and is over 50% on faceoffs. Tampa may stick around enough to never be sellers, but if they continue at their current pace they may be left with no choice. Girgenson's is another option and would probably be a little cheaper than Boyle to acquire.

Boyle is a winner I like that move for the wild for sure
zemgus is young but your whole team is older boyle would be a better fit and easier to acquire

The whole team isn't older...The team's average age is 26.91 which is below league average (19th of 30). If you take out players who have worn a letter for us this season and Pominville, the average age drops to about 25.2.

Most of our younger players have been with the big club full time since they were about 20 so we have a very experienced group. That makes them seem older than they actually are.

I've been saying Girgensons trade since the draft. It puts him in the same age bracket (2012 draft) as Dumba, (2011 Draft) Brodin, (2010 Draft) Nino, Granny, Coyle, Zucker. Boyle would be nice too, but I prefer Girgs.

Would be ideal to work out a futures trade for Girgensons and Lehner/Nilsson. 1 stop shopping in Buffalo. smile
