Minnesota Wild lines
So you would move our top point man (and 11th in the NHL) to the 4th line?
My lines would be:
Zucker/Koivu/Granlund
Nino/Staal/Coyle
Parise/Hanzal/Pomm
Stewie/Haula/Schroeder
-I'm done with White, he's a good depth guy. Schroeder plays fast, something we are lacking right now.
Suter/Spurge
Scand/Brodin
Olofsson/Dumba
-I'm done with Prosser, he doesn't have the speed to make up for Dumba's mistakes.

Not gonna happen - Shattenkirk
I agree his RH shot makes him much more valuable to our future. I went with this unlikely scenario bc Shatty is a RH shot too and is the player we all hope Dumba turns into (offensively gifted, above average defensively). A top 4 of Suter/Spurgeon Brodin/Shatty would be tough to beat in the playoffs. Like I said it won't happen, but it's an interesting scenario.

4th Line Center Need
Agree that 4th line center might be our #1 need right now. I would love for the Wild to go after Boyle from TB. Big body, would be 2nd on our team in hits, plays PP and PK, can play wing on any of our lines and is over 50% on faceoffs. Tampa may stick around enough to never be sellers, but if they continue at their current pace they may be left with no choice. Girgenson's is another option and would probably be a little cheaper than Boyle to acquire.

Vanek to CHI
Vanek is not good enough defensely to be paired with toews and hossa. Being a Wild fan I'm guessing the Hawks somehow get Vanek and he single handily kills us the 2nd round of playoffs. That would be the Minnesota way.

Minnesota has huge decisions to make. Whoever they give up will be a top 6 forward or top 2 defenseman for Las Vegas. It would be in their best interest to protect their youth.</i></div></div>
I am guessing the Wild will pull some strings and have Vegas select Scandella by throwing in picks/prospects.

Plus there is way too many big contracts on this list. I'm guessing Vegas will go cheap and young right away in the hopes of landing a top 3 draft pick to build their franchise around.

Possible TDL targets
I think we need to make 1 move. Not a splashy move like we all originally thought, but a depth/scoring move. Our depth is our strength and will be key come playoff time. Out of this list Vrbata is having a nice year with 9 G and 14 A. Seems like he would be a good flex player who could move up and down our lines and is a RH shot we need. I have no clue how he is defensively, but out of this list he seems like a good player to target.

Any interest in Iginla? I wouldn't give up much for him (2nd or 3rd rd pick/mid level prospect). I think we could use another RH shot on the PP. Thoughts?

Cleaning Up the Wings (Pre Expansion Draft)
If that deal is offered to MN, GMCF has Pommer and Dumba on a plane to Edm before he hangs up the phone.

Expansion Prep
This isn't Arizona or Carolina, LV will have no problem selling tickets. So them taking Zucker just because he is from there doesn't make much sense to me. I could see them taking him because he is cheap and can score goals, but the home town angle is way overplayed in my opinion.

Sabres Deal With Wild
If I were the Wild the only player I am giving up is Pommenville. Kane has way too many red flags and has never lived up to his potential. Pomm/Kane's contracts are nearly identical with Kane having 1 less year on the deal. Noway I give up a proven DMan for a player with so many question marks.

big change
I understand that Stepan is easily worth that and more. But Pommenville and Koivu take up 12 million alone so there is noway the Wild could ever take Nash's 7 million and Stepan's 6+ million without being able to move 1 of our aging vets (who all have NTC/NMC). It sucks because I think the Wild are a player or two away from being a true contender, but we have locked up/overpayed too many aging players to go out and sign or trade for a legit play making centerman. I would love to make this trade happen, but as a Wild fan I'm telling you it would almost be impossible from our aspect.

Noway the cap-strapped Wild could take on that much salary. It would be a good trade for the Wild but virtually impossible with the dollars involved.

RNH/Goligoski
Plus Fletcher somehow traded a 38 year old goalie who hadn't played a game all season for a serviceable forward at the deadline. I think he can get rid of a guy who had 18 goals last year and is on the last year of his deal. Carolina may need to hit the cap floor with Stahl off the books so I thought that move made the most sense.

RNH/Goligoski
Dumba might get a little more. I don't think he gets to 3 mill though. Zucker was horrible this season, so his negotiating power is limited. I'm guessing they sign Zucker on a prove it deal similar to that of Granlund's but for less money. I don't see him signing for over 2 mill after his peformance past season. I like Goligoski bc he is more offensive than Brodin and it cripples Dallas' already thin defense.

Gotta Bury That Zucker
I'm not too familiar on low priced veteran defenseman so he was the guy I picked pretty much randomly. I think pairing Dumba and Reilly with veteran D-man would help them a lot. I would like Gologoski, but I am guessing he will demand a long term significant pay raise.
