I'd think Coleman gets 3-5 years, between $4m and $5m AAV.

Really one year for Coleman that’s on par with trading McDavid for 1 whole dollar

A 4x4 would be reasonable, right? You save about 700k per year with the Dallas taxes: https://twitter.com/MarcMethot3/status/1401652737927004160

I think so. That is probably the figure I'd use if making a Dallas ACGM.

Yeah no you’re right,I was just lazy on the terms especially the ahl guys. Coleman is there mostly as a place holder I don’t think they should even spend that much on a free agent but I’m sure they will. I put Coleman in just because he’s the popular free agent but I think you’d see the same drop in production you see in most players on this team and don’t think it’s worth spending even 3.5 on a guy that’s just going to be reliable, could probably resign Cogliano cheaper. I’d rather they just stuck Gardner in the lineup to avoid tying up cap on multi year deals. The ideal scenario would be Damiani and Mascherin both make the team out of training camp and pan out immediately and they don’t need expensive bottom 6 vets.
