They don't need any more defensive prospects. This is why the Rangers aren't a fit. Kakko isn't worth the risk either. He just doesn't score.

And you have Samuelsson who was 32nd overall in 2018, who had a good year in the AHL. And Ryan Johnson 31st overall in 2019 he was great at Minnesota and in the world juniors. Jason Botterill loved drafting left defenseman. Hopefully, they draft Benniers instead.

I think they should too, but his injury at Worlds might scare your front office away. Especially if they plan to put whoever they pick in the NHL right away, but for your sake, I hope they don't rush it.
