    There’s no reason to include Thompson in the deal, especially not retaining anything. I don’t know if the Rangers are even looking at Reinhart.

    No. Rangers need the ELCs. Don’t need Reinhart unless other drastic changes are made.

    Well, depending the cost, having Reinhart as your #3 would be pretty bananas. I feel like that's exactly the type of thing you find a way to make work if you can.

    Why? They need future cap space more than they need Reinhart. He doesn’t add anything. He’s more of what they already have.

    Tkachuk can take his massive QO right to arbitration and walk right to UFA in 2 years. We'd have to pay him atleast 10 million a year to turn down UFA
