If that’s all Treliving gets for Monahan and Gaudreau he should be fired before the league can process the transaction

The only thing that worries me is the 7X7 for Nuge.

hes in a tough spot, Gaudreau has 1 year left and hes a small winger whos getting older. Monahan has underperfomed, its really tough to get good value for both

I don't know what part of, the penguins don't want Gaudreau is hard to understand. You clearly don't know the team.

Getting older? They’re both in their prime man, guys over the age of 23 still have value… Johnny’s only 27, he’s hardly over the hill. He’s literally never scored at below a 65 point pace in his entire career (I think a lot of people don’t realize how ridiculous this is, for reference look at all the hauls Reinhart seems to be getting on this site and then realize 65 points is his career HIGH points pace), Gaudreau’s an elite first line winger on every team in the league except Boston lol. And Monahan had a down year in 19-20 where he still scored 22 goals in a pandemic-shortened season, and then played through a hip injury this year. He scored at a 30 goal pace for the 5 seasons prior to that, and it’s reasonable to expect him to return to that form when he’s healthy again.

I don't see them spending that kind of money on big time free agents. Plus I don't think there is any way Landeskog or RNH come here.
