Better than Strome.. 25 games isn’t a bad sample size considering the division he was in. To be clear, I’m not saying I want this trade. Just stating that he could allow us to move Strome and keep all our wings. Also only losing Geo and ADA and a 1st seem like a great deal

Honestly, I think the trade is a big win for NYR. BUF needs a goalie and Reinhart wants out. In another world, where Reinhart signs long-term with BUF, there is no way I'd make this trade.

Fine, he looked good in 25 games. Strome has never looked good at C. So getting the better player to be the insufficient 2C is still an upgrade.. for the cost of nothing. And the possibility that he actually is a good 2C is just gravy
