Each forward you have acquired in this post is 100% worth Edmontons time going after. Highly doubtful you get more than 1 of them but definitely needed. Ryan Getzlaf in my opinion should be Edmontons number 1 pursuit if he is open to playing anywhere else.

How annoying (and probably dysfunctional but who cares for the purposes of imagination) would a line of Perry, Getzlaf and Kassian be lol.

This will likely be Oleksiak's last chance at cashing in on a bigger deal and with his size, skating, and puck handling ability, I doubt he goes for less than $4M, at minimum. Perhaps he'd look at what Edmonton has on hand and look at them as being a legitimate contender (minus that top tier netminder), but I just don't see him only getting $3M/per for 3 years.

The best part about this IMO is cutting ties with RNH. As an outsider looking in I think there is no way you guys should pay him what he is going to want/get

I don’t think danault and Perry sign that but would be an absolute great move to get both.

I also wonder if there is a way to acquire a better goalie than that? I know goaltending was not the issue this year but personally I could see another Koskinen with ullmark
