Description
Just for kicks, seeing what the Blues lineup could look like in a couple of years with a small trade and the addition of a pricy UFA. It looks possible, but someone like Steen/Schwartz/Allen would have to go soon after - too many ELCs on the roster and some of them are bound to earn nice deals. Yak or Jaskin taken by Vegas.

      Parayko is at least getting 5 million with HT discount, i'd assume he can sign around 5.5

      JT won't command 11 mil on the open market. More realistically he'll be somewhere closer to Steve Stamkos or Anze Kopitar I'd guess around 8.5-9 mil.

      Ok that's true; it seems that the cheap bridge deal is a dying breed.

      Maybe not, but this would be 2 years from now. There will be some silly high contracts handed out in that time to make this look realistic. Also, Kopitar signed for $10M AAV at the same age that JT would be signing this deal... the cap will be higher, so I don't think 11 is far off for JT.

      JT hasn't proven he can lead his team to winning multiple cups like Kopitar has which will hurt his value. Kopitar is also elite on the defensive side as well with a few selkes to prove it. JT is a much closer comparison to Stamkos in this regard. IMO he'll be lucky to get 9.5 mil
