Hakanpaa is not getting paid 1.4M for 3 years, bean probably gets a touch more, doubt mrazek stays if he isn't the starter, yanni gourde would be a great addition for Carolina

Players have surgery all the time. I think it’s a bit odd to consider retirement at 30

Move Foegele and sign an actual scorer for the 2nd line. Move Gourde down to the Staal line but I am opposed to acquiring him.

Those goalie contracts are scary.

I used the Haydn Fleury contract as the comparable for Bean.

Gourde scores a lot for a 3rd line guy. I'd take a shot on him with Troch and Necas.

This would be his third back surgery in 3 years. Have to think with that type of injury chances of him hanging it up are higher than other injuries and surgeries. Either way gives canes flexibility of LTIR most likely
