Description

Canes protect Slavin, Pesce, Skjei and Ron Francis decides to give Hamilton a big money (8x9?) deal to be Seattle's first franchise player.

Barrie is brought in because he, like Hamilton, is a very good offensive defenseman with limited defensive skills. Martinez is also an option here

If Seth Jarvis blows people away at camp, he moves in to Bokk's spot, Bokk moves down to the the AHL or is the 13th forward.

I'm kinda doubting Seattle would think Hamilton is going to be a franchise player. Even worse is signing Barrie to big $$$ and term.

Too much term for Barrie.

$6-6.5M by 3-4yrs sounds about right
