Description

With news that Gardiner was hurt again during end of season and playoffs and that he’s talking to team and doctors about next steps and a potential surgery, I think it’s reasonable to assume he’ll be on LTIR or even retire since it would be his third back surgery in 3 years.

Saw a similar Radulov trade on a Stars ACGM and I like the concept. Could also go after somebody like Saad but have seen that before and thought this was an interesting look. Would likely be a rental as I don’t see Canes extending him long term which doesn’t really jive with how GMDW and RBA have constructed the team but now that they’re shifting into the prime of their cup window that strategy may need to be adjusted slightly to get short term high end players.

Not sure on the Dallas deal. Don’t love it but I don’t hate if. If we were going for a forward with 1 year left I think I’d go for forsberg

That is an overpayment for Radulov. 2nd at most with Foegele. Although Foegele should be enough

Yeah wasn’t really sure on value. Saw something similar in another thread so went with that. Think Foegs time here has run it’s course and adding in a draft pick to get some top 6 scoring would be great.

Yeah Forsberg would be awesome. I did another team with him and then one extending him. I just don’t think that’s a piece the Preds move and he’ll likely get an extension from everything I’ve read.
