That Reinhart trade doesn't happen(its fair value) wanna know why? Dube will be protected by the Flames. Gaudreau Monahan Lindholm Tkachuk Mangiapane Dube Backlund Andersson Hanifin Tanev Markstrom is the Flames protection list.

Canucks aren't doing that. Holtby's buyout is cheap and Pearson will be protected

I think you miss calculated TBL protection plan. Cernak will most definitely be protected as a part of the 4-4-1. Your options will be guys like Killorn, Gourde, Palat, McDonagh, and Johnson.

I have the Lightning protecting Stamkos, Kucherov, Point, Palat, Gourde, Killorn, and Cirelli. I just think they'll offer a compensation so Cernak isn't taken.

The Taxi squad doesn't exist next season.

Carolina might do that, but they shouldn't. Gardiner's buyout isn't that bad at 1.4x4 and the extra 1.4 cap space over the next 4 seasons is not worth a 1st, Bokk, and a 3rd. I'm also not scared of losing Skjei or Fast. I personally think they are easily replaceable (some Canes fans will disagree though).

Yes, but in the realm of the salary cap Seattle would be doing us a favor by selecting McDonagh and his phat contract.

Go ahead and select Fast or Skjei. Not worth Bokk and a first and third rounder. I’d do the first to take Gardiner contract off but they’ll probably be able to bury him on LTIR next year.

They get an awesome video tribute including raising the cup maybe on 2 different occasions.
Palat brings TB 200k below and McD about 1.6 with plenty of signings quite possible both are Gone.
Rather lose Palat than Killorn

PHI will protect Patrick on top of Giroux, Couturier, Hayes, Laughton, Lindblom & Konency. They'll wanna unload Voracek or JVR's contract, so the pick compensation isn't necessary, unless it was to grab Jake or James.
