All I've seen from Flames fans is that you need a right handed shot for your top 6. So I trade a right handed shot who has been at a .8 PPG pace the past two seasons for a 2nd, a prospect and to drop back a few spots in the first, and now it's, why would the Flames do that?

i have zero idea why the flames wouldn't do that.. fits the team needs and bumps back maybe four picks in a crap shoot draft, sign me up. strome could come in and play anywhere on the right side or be a great 3c if monahan is moved, i would be all over this as a flames fan.

Agreed - I think this is a very reasonable trade idea that the Flames would definitely consider!
