Don't see any reason Dallas doesn't accept this deal

Not sure why Toronto fans seem to think they can just trade for Perron at 50% retained for a not so good return. Amirov is fine, but Holl and a 2nd? If the Blues were even interested in moving their first point per game player in 18 years, it would be for a minimum of a first round and b level prospect. But even that is pushing it considering they are still contending.

I realize that - which is what Amirov is. He was 15 OA last year + and top4 D and a 2nd rounder not a bad return for a year rental imo

We're giving up a top-4 d-man, leader on team, and $4.5 million so we can move up 11 spots in middle rounds of draft?
How does that work for NJD?

Give us the 2022 1st.

Holl is not a top 4 d on the Blues. He's just okay. Amirov? Again, he's fine and showing promise, but the Blues would likely want Amirov and a 1st, not another 29+ year old defenseman and a 2nd, especially if they're retaining.

Probably still worth it for the Leafs to do a trade to get Perron like that

It probably is, but Blues will ask for more. Amirov and 1st is a minimum if Blues aren't retaining. If retaining, I can see another pick thrown in somewhere. Ultimately, I think a team would offer more for him or at least a better prospect. I mean, Foligno and Palmieri got those returns.

Amirov = 2-3 first round picks according to most TML fans on this site

PK isn’t what he used to be but he’s still worth more than that. Especially with 50% retained

Don't see the Blues agreeing to this trade. Perron has earned a lifetime contract at this point.
