Take out Kreider & Reunanen and swap the direction of the 2nd rounder. I do that, but I'm not touch Kreid's contract

Yeah seems to be nobody wants Kreider's contract lol. I love Ritchie's game would be welcome on the Rangers.

there is a bit wrong with this but I'm going to harp on one thing here...
why are you giving palmeri & ritchie so much money? That is 10m between two players. May as well give ovechkin a one year deal worth that (or use the 1m or so cap space left to give him 11m) and use a cheap 4th liner for the extra spot (push blackwell up to 3rd line)

It’s off because it wouldn’t happen. Zito already said his top priority is to resign Barkov. “If” he became available the offer whatever Zito wants and it’s not negotiable because every tram in the league would want Barkov.

Palmieri one year deal. Ritchie honestly think that is where he would be at for the next contract.

Majority of what is posted on here will never happen. Panthers would be dumb to not resign Barkov. Just a hypothetical in value.

I'm not a huge fan of Ritchie. He had a fast start this past season thanks in part to being on the 1st PP, but as the season went on he lost a step, was constantly behind on the play and many nights he was invisible.

only our ghost is an RFA and not owed $6.5 million for another 6 years. I guess the good news is he only has a full NMC for 3 of those 6 years.

I know what Kreider's deal is...Knew it was going to be an albatross. Should've traded him at the deadline back in 2019.

Trading Barkov basically indicates either a rebuild or tremendous confidence that Lundell can be the man. Cats would want top prospects and first round picks. So a deal would need to include at least 2 of either Kravstov, Kaapo, Alexis, or Miller plus multiple first. An “overpay” maybe but whatever team trades for him is going to “overpay” because it’s a bidding war.
