That is such a Buffalo trade return... Reasonable but as a fan I can't get really excited about any one piece.

That’s not good for Columbus. Trading their best player and best defenseman isn’t a smart idea. Especially when their next 2 best defenseman reportedly want out of Columbus. Imo Columbus needs to rebuild, not trade for Eichel.

I doubt they walk Laine right to UFA status. 1 year deal is all I can see getting done this offseason. If Eichel joins the fold, I could see him signing longer term after this year.

Yeah…. I know… that being said I doubt this is the offer, last I heard is Buffalo wanted 5th+Foudy and other picks, not roster players.
