Helping The Bruins Resign Hall

Created by: Campabee
Team: 2021-22 Montreal Canadiens
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 23, 2021
Published: Jun. 23, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Drouin decides he is done with hockey and retires citing mental health issues (LTIR)

Might be a little high or too much term for Krejci but Krejci and Danault on the same line means someone is always on their strong side for faceoffs. Also what a terribly menacing shutdown line that would be Krejci-Danault-Gallagher LMAO!

Our depth would once again be the story next season as we would be built for the playoffs instead of the regular season where I suspect we finish about 3 in division or 1st WC spot.

Boston doesn't need help re-signing Hall. They can re-sign Krejci, Hall, Rask, Carlo and all their other FA's and be fine. Its also laughable to play right shot David Krejci at LW.....where he's never played in his entire career lol.

A bunch of Meh? that is 2 first + Brook (value around a 2nd or 3rd) for York and Wylie not really a bunch of Meh! Brook for York would be pretty close to fair value BTW, not quite that's why I added the 1st. Then you get Poehling a really good solid middle 6 center prospect for Wylie. It is a great deal for Philly, but hey I understand you not wanting to trade your guys but you really can't say the pieces going the other way are meh!

Quantity doesn't equal quality. Rather have York than two guys and a 1st to try and replace him.

What have Poehling or Brook done? NOTHING! And a late 1st? Hardly what the Flyers would trade a guy who they think can be a top pairing D man for.

Perhaps you should watch some Laval games before you judge what Brook or Poehling have or have not done! Brook projects to be a top 4 RHD and still has a ceiling of a top pairing guy, York is a LHD and the Flyers have Sanheim and Provorov ahead of him. Does York project to be better than them? Serious question I really don't know. Both Poehing and Brook have taken a bit longer to develop but both were also major reasons why Laval finished first overall in the AHL this season. Poehling had 25 points in 28 games so almost a ppg center and Brook was at 15 points in 33 games so .5 ppg basically so yeah they have accomplished quite a bit this season. The difference between York and Brook isn't as significant as you are letting on, I just figures that since the Flyers are stacked with young LHD and very little in the way of RHD. I figured it was a win win for everyone guess not in your opinion though LOL.
