Kerfoot on 2LW and Granlund on 3RW and the lines are good. Although Bunting and Reimer would want a little more, this is very realistic. Make the pick a 3rd and they retain 50% of McCann's salary. Good job though.

They have cap issues so they trade a good and really cheap option in Holl just to sign a defenseman to play his off side and pay him more?

Holl wouldn’t play in the pens top 4. He’d most certainly play behind both Letang and Marino on the right side. But pens probably accept the trade

I agree but Holl will get around 20ish minutes. When the game gets close you can shelter some of your less reliable guys on the defensive side and Holl will be there. Guys not afraid to block, clear the front of the net or anything.

Finally, an offer from Leafs which makes sense. I would accept it.

The only defenseman we have that would need sheltering at the end of the game with a lead would be Matheson. Which we’d do regardless of having Holl or not. The pens would use either the Dumo-Letang pair or the Pettersson-Marino pairing anyway.
