Trades
1.
BUF
  1. Comtois, Maxime [RFA Rights]
  2. Zegras, Trevor
  3. 2021 1st round pick (ANA)
  4. 2022 1st round pick (ANA)
Additional Details:
Zegras and no. 3 are the starters no matter what. Eichel is a top-10 player in the league when healthy and if you disagree, kick rocks. Adding a second and third helps offset the two firsts coming back. Could toss in a prospect on the Sabres end probably.
ANA
  1. Eichel, Jack
  2. 2021 2nd round pick (BOS)
  3. 2022 3rd round pick (BUF)
2.
BUF
  1. 2021 1st round pick (VAN)
  2. 2022 2nd round pick (VAN)
Additional Details:
Sam gets to go home (I'll miss him dearly). Sabres get another top-10 pick and a future
VAN
  1. Reinhart, Sam [RFA Rights]
  2. 2021 5th round pick (MTL)
3.
BUF
  1. Hughes, Jack
  2. Wood, Miles
Additional Details:
Lets. Get. Weird. You can make an argument that this is a lot to give up on either end, but for me, it works. Hughes is an elite talent and can hopefully slide into the no. 1 center role that Jack Eichel will leave. Adding Wood is something I would love because he is A) a physical player Buffalo desperately needs, B) can score goals as well, and C) Wood was born in Buffalo (his dad played for the Sabres). Adding Zegras gives the Devils a top center to fill the void, Olofsson - who I do like - offsets Wood while the Devils really like Risto. Adding the picks in have to be the sweeteners in order to pry a talent like Hughes away from NJ.
NJD
  1. Olofsson, Victor
  2. Ristolainen, Rasmus
  3. Zegras, Trevor
  4. 2021 1st round pick (VAN)
  5. 2022 2nd round pick (VAN)
4.
BUF
Give Seattle a pick and hope they take Miller.
    SEA
    1. Miller, Colin
    2. 2021 6th round pick (COL)
    5.
    BUF
    1. Merzlikins, Elvis
    Additional Details:
A third may not be enough but Elvis can become the starter until UPL is ready.
    CBJ
    1. 2021 3rd round pick (MTL)
    6.
    BUF
    1. Tkachuk, Matthew
    Additional Details:
Again, probably not enough to get a guy like Tkachuk, but I love him. The perfect player to address the Sabres scoring and physicality deficiencies. Mittelstadt gives them a young, exciting player while Bryson and Thompson have some good qualities. Toss in the first pick of the second round and have some fun.

Flames dont consider that. You have 2 players we would be interested in. Eichel and Reinhart(MAYBE Dahlin but he isn't available) and I would only trade Tkachuk for Eichel

VAN would need the Sabres to take back some salary to make it work.

I was considering throwing in Eriksson or Beagle in there for that exact reason, so I would agree with you there.

I'd give up 9OA but not much more if you're not taking any cap

I like the Anaheim trade. I think they could get that done without the 2nd included too

As a Sabres fan this is way too unrealistic to even bother.

Jack for 3OA and Zegras is all I want and even that might be pushing it realistically

Not a terrible offer from van but i feel like roussel would need to be going back the other if a 2nd is involved

No chance the Ducks trade Zegras. especially not him 3OA and Comtois and another first, you're gonna be extremely disappointed when Eichel only returns a fraction of that value tears of joy tears of joy

"A third may not be enough" - oh, wow, is that ever a massive understatement. There's little or no motivation to move Merzlikins; I'm not sure we'd take only a 3rd for Korpisalo, even.
