Regarding Benning and Barrie. I've said for a few years, the Canucks should lock Benning away when UFA signing period starts. He's been horrific in his signings. Non playoff teams shouldn't have the cap issues that the Canucks have.

Canucks can't trade Holtby because they need a goalie to expose in the Seattle.

I don't believe Seattle would take him and trading Holtby would happen after the expansion draft, of course.

^Took me all of 5 minutes to put that together. He was awful the year before going to Vancouver so don't use the excuse that he's been bad because it wasn't WSH.

A legitimate rumor, sure.....but this rumor comes from a few guys on a podcast that cover Vancouver lol. Its like people in Boston using HACKerty or Jimmy thin skin as a source of a rumor.
