Add full retention on OEL. It’s still probably a no, but at least then it’s somewhat reasonable.

I think I'd consider that for Tarasenko. Change of scenery for Hayton and the potential for a lottery pick.

Why are you trading a first round pick and signing free agents when the team is in no state to compete? They lost their first to NJ for Hall, got this year’s taken away, and now you wanna trade next years for a player with 2 years left and had a major shoulder surgery? The yotes should try and recoup picks and prospects to build for the future.

Here's my main issues with your Tarasenko offer: the two players included have both plateau-ed hardcore and they both play at two of the three positions where the Blues already have a logjam. And this is also a trade offer for a rebuilding team, which is not what the Blues are by any stretch. So what else ya got?

you need to retain on OEL even then you'd still have to add something as a sweetener for boston
