I got an Express pass on the Wayne Train

Created by: RowdyRoddy96
Team: 2021-22 Toronto Maple Leafs
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 30, 2021
Published: Jul. 1, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
It's the best I could come up with given current rumours
Arvidsson has been seen as the potential replacement to Hyman and Nashville are listening to offers on him and Nashville and Toronto were in convos over Filip Forberg this past season as well..
Andersen coming back is more or less a surprise? But he needs to come back at a low hit for it to work? 2-2.5 for 1 or 2 seasons should do the trick?
Rielly might have to be sacrificed and I threw Engvall in the trade because I don't mind him leaving and ship Rielly off to a team that needs offensive help on their blue line and also have holes to fill in their d core. Gurianov would be another great winger pickup whose miles better than Mikhayev and can hold down a Top 6 role if it was given to him. Mikhayev stays. Bozak Returns to Toronto, So does Foligno and that becomes a really good shut down 3rd line imo. Robertson is the healthy scratch to be placed in if the team needs more offense. To replace Rielly's spot the Leafs sign Oleksiak to a lower cap for longer term. Muzzin becomes the top LHD in Toronto. Oleksiak plays alongside Holl. Sandin plays alongside a Returning Bogosian. Imo the team becomes more balanced. Offensively capable Offense with Defensively capable defence. Muzzin Brodie is a great shutdown pair. Oleksiak and Holl would be as well! Oleksiak is a master of shutting down off rush chances. Sandin and Bogosian I think needed more time to get adjusted but they will be great together!
Mcelhinney returns as a 3rd goalie.
Del Zotto comes aboard being good friends with JT.
I did have Sam Gagner as well but decided against it?
I believe this team has been constructed more reasonably than other teams? People are still going to disagree with it but I feel like if Dubas was going in a certain direction he'd probably go this route?

I could see David Poile being hesitant to accept that, with the high likelihood he could be retired before getting to use that 2023 1st. However the value is definitely there, and NSH should take that offer.

Overpay for ardvinsson for sure. Gurianov deal is pretty good imo, but Dallas wouldn't want to do it unless they had a deal in place to resign rielly

Very weak at centre...and not even a fifth centre. Dallas shouldn't be a fan of that trade, defence isn't problem. Leafs need to develop players instead of sending 4 futures away for Arvidsson.

Right? I kinda laughed but was also pissed because if it only took a 2nd and 3rd to get an Arvidsson then alot of people are seriously overvaluing their players as well. Dvorak could probably leave Arizona for a 1st round pick if that's the case?
